Scam Evidence

While there may be additional instances, at the time of writing, the following lists several scams have been linked to the associated evidence.

Primary Scammer Wallet Detail

The GN9X... wallet was responsible for the initial reported incident involving a trade of a fake Claynosaurz #1853 for Wise Whales #1171. The transfer as well as the NFT images are provided below. The Wise Whales was quickly sold for 26 sol on Magic Eden after the trade.

The 6N9X... wallet was funded via a Binance account (2ojv9BAiHUrvsm9gxDe7fJSzbNZSJcxZvf8dqmWGHG8S) for 0.21977 Sol on September 27, 2021.

This wallet has been associated and called out on Twitter several times as a scammer by others. This is also mentioned in the Discord Evidence section of this post.

There are at least 10 scam NFTs at the time of this investigation where the 6N9X... wallet is the authority.

The Primates Scam

Several fake Primates were minted for potential scams. In this setup the real NFT Primates #3667 was transferred to the 6N9X... wallet. Six days later there were 3 fake Primate NFTs created.

Primates (f3) - Fake

• Authority: 4vrPq6YyiJFDkhaHUBsRMTdkSR3WcR8V6eBdxT94dBU

The fake Primates 3667 (f3) was sent from wallet 4vrP... to wallet 7HcZR... which was attributed to X account @Zane07717728. Then the fake Primates 3667 (f3) NFT was sent to the 6N9X... wallet. Then the 6N9X wallet transferred it back to the 7HcZR... whereas shortly after the 7HcZR... wallet sent a real Vandal 1955 to the 6N9X... wallet on August 4th. Then on August 6th the 7HcZR... wallet transferred the fake Primates 3667 (f3) to wallet 3zv5B... where the fake NFT was burned.

The Zan1523 X profile has been inactive for some time. SectorH has reached out and is still waiting for comment about the trade since the data shows that Zan1523 sent a real Vandal NFT in return for a fake NFT.

As shown above the fake Primates 3667 (f2) was sent from wallet 4vrP... to wallet CQW2Y... which was attributed to X account @GablemondeXD. On August 6, 2022 the a real Primates 8841 was transferred from CQW2Y... to the 6N9X... wallet. Then the fake Primates 3667 (f2) was sent from CQW2Y.. to wallet CALUG... which is also attributed to the same X account, where the fake NFT was burned.

The Yng_lemonade X profile has been inactive for a few months. SectorH has reached out and is still waiting for comment about the trade since Yng_lemonade sent a real Primates NFT in return for a fake NFT.
